§ BC.301.104. CIVIL ACTION
CIVIL ACTION. A consumer injured by a violation of this chapter may bring an action for recovery of damages. The damages awarded may not be less than the amount the consumer paid the person who sold the consumer goods or services through the use of the telephone solicitor, plus reasonable attorney's fees and court costs. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 885 (H.B. 2278 ), Sec. 2.01, eff. April 1, 2009.
