§ IN.882.602. AMENDMENT TO CHARTER OR ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION REQUIRED

AMENDMENT TO CHARTER OR ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION REQUIRED. If the policyholders of a mutual life insurance company authorize a conversion under Section 882.601 , the board of directors and officers of the company shall amend the company's charter or articles of incorporation to comply with the requirements applicable to a stock legal reserve life insurance company under Chapter 841 . Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 1, eff. June 1, 2003.
