§ HS.85.141. MODEL POLICIES CONCERNING PERSONS IN CUSTODY
MODEL POLICIES CONCERNING PERSONS IN CUSTODY. The department, in consultation with appropriate correctional and law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and emergency medical services providers, shall develop model policies regarding the handling, care, and treatment of persons with AIDS or HIV infection who are in the custody of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, local law enforcement agencies, municipal and county correctional facilities, and district probation departments.
