§ GV.661.002. SICK LEAVE POOL

SICK LEAVE POOL. (a) The governing body of a state agency shall, through the establishment of a program, allow an agency employee to voluntarily transfer to a sick leave pool sick leave earned by the employee. (b) The executive director of the agency or another individual appointed by the governing body shall administer the sick leave pool. (c) The governing body of the state agency shall adopt rules and prescribe procedures relating to the operation of the agency sick leave pool. Added by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 268, Sec. 1, eff.
