§ WA.58.072. QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS. To be qualified for election as a director, a person must be a resident of the state, be the owner of record of fee simple title to land in the district, be at least 18 years of age, and owe no delinquent taxes or assessments to the district. Section 49.052 does not apply to a district governed by this chapter. Added by Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 1537, ch. 627, Sec. 1, eff. Aug. 29, 1977. Amended by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 715, Sec. 32, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
