§ WA.58.028. MULTICOUNTY DISTRICT
MULTICOUNTY DISTRICT: NOTICE AND HEARING ON DISTRICT CREATION. When a petition is filed, the commission shall give notice of an application in the manner provided in Section 49.011 and may conduct a hearing on the application if the commission determines that a hearing is necessary under that section. Added by Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 1537, ch. 627, Sec. 1, eff. Aug. 29, 1977. Amended by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1070, Sec. 37, eff. Sept. 1, 1997.
