§ UT.55.110. REPORT OF BLOCKING FAILURE
REPORT OF BLOCKING FAILURE. (a) A provider of caller ID services who becomes aware of the failure of per-call or per-line blocking to block identification of a customer shall report that failure to the commission, the Caller ID Consumer Education Panel, and the customer whose identification was not blocked. (b) The provider shall make a reasonable effort to notify the customer within 24 hours after the provider becomes aware of the failure. The provider is not required to notify the customer if the customer reported the failure. (c) In this section, "caller ID service" means a service that permits the called party to determine the identity, telephone number, or address of the calling party.
