§ GV.547.0352. MATCHING GRANT PROGRAM
MATCHING GRANT PROGRAM. The commission shall establish a matching grant program to provide grants to county-based community collaboratives to reduce: (1) recidivism by, the frequency of arrests of, and incarceration of individuals with mental illness; and (2) the total wait time for forensic commitment of individuals with mental illness to a state hospital. Added by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 769 (H.B. 4611 ), Sec. 1.01, eff. April 1, 2025.
