§ IN.541.006. PROHIBITED CONTENT OF CERTAIN INSURANCE POLICIES
PROHIBITED CONTENT OF CERTAIN INSURANCE POLICIES. Notwithstanding any other provision of this code, it is unlawful for an insurer engaged in the business of life, accident, or health insurance to issue or deliver in this state a policy containing the words "Approved by the Texas Department of Insurance" or words of a similar meaning. Added by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 2, eff. April 1, 2005.
