§ GV.540.0802. MENTAL HEALTH PROVIDERS

MENTAL HEALTH PROVIDERS. A STAR Health program managed care contract between a Medicaid managed care organization and the commission must require the organization to ensure that the organization maintains a network of mental and behavioral health providers, including child psychiatrists and other appropriate providers, in all Department of Family and Protective Services regions in this state, regardless of whether community-based care has been implemented in any region. Added by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 769 (H.B. 4611 ), Sec. 1.01, eff. April 1, 2025.
