§ GV.540.0268. ASSISTANCE RESOLVING RECIPIENT AND PROVIDER ISSUES

ASSISTANCE RESOLVING RECIPIENT AND PROVIDER ISSUES. A contract to which this subchapter applies must require the contracting Medicaid managed care organization to provide ready access to a person who assists: (1) a recipient in resolving issues relating to enrollment, plan administration, education and training, access to services, and grievance procedures; and (2) a provider in resolving issues relating to payment, plan administration, education and training, and grievance procedures. Added by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 769 (H.B. 4611 ), Sec. 1.01, eff. April 1, 2025.
