§ TN.453.154. RESULTS OF ELECTION
RESULTS OF ELECTION. (a) If a majority of the votes received at the election favor the proposition, the board shall: (1) record the result in its minutes; and (2) adopt an order requiring implementation of the mass transit plan. (b) If a majority of the votes received at the election do not favor the proposition, the board shall: (1) record in its minutes an order declaring the result; and (2) dissolve the transit department as soon as practicable. (c) The board shall file a certified copy of an order under this section with the Texas Department of Transportation, with the comptroller, and in the deed records of the county.
