§ ES.453.008. LIABILITY OF SURVIVING SPOUSE FOR LOSS

LIABILITY OF SURVIVING SPOUSE FOR LOSS. A surviving spouse is not liable for a loss sustained by the community estate unless the surviving spouse is guilty of gross negligence or bad faith. Added by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 680 (H.B. 2502 ), Sec. 1, eff. January 1, 2014.
