§ SD.3859.006. TORT LIABILITY
TORT LIABILITY. The district is a governmental unit under Chapter 101 , Civil Practice and Remedies Code, and the operations of the district are essential government functions and are not proprietary functions for any purpose, including the application of Chapter 101 , Civil Practice and Remedies Code. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1288 (H.B. 4110 ), Sec. 1, eff. June 15, 2007.
