§ HS.265.002. COUNTY AND ANY TWO OR MORE MUNICIPALITIES
COUNTY AND ANY TWO OR MORE MUNICIPALITIES. (a) The commissioners court of a county may cooperate with the proper authorities of two or more municipalities to establish, build, equip, and maintain a hospital in the county. (b) The commissioners court may appropriate funds for the hospital that the court considers appropriate after a joint conference with the municipal authorities. (c) The commissioners court and the municipal authorities shall jointly control the management of the hospital. Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1989.
