§ TN.225.070. MARGARET MCDERMOTT BRIDGE
MARGARET MCDERMOTT BRIDGE. (a) The structure on Interstate 30 located in the city of Dallas connecting the east and west levee of the Trinity River is designated as the Margaret McDermott Bridge. (b) The department shall design and construct markers indicating the highway number, the designation as the Margaret McDermott Bridge, and any other appropriate information. (c) Except as provided by Subsection (d), the department shall erect a marker at each end of the structure. (d) The department is not required to design, construct, or erect a marker under this section unless a grant or donation of private funds is made to the department to cover the cost of the design, construction, and erection of the marker. (e) Money received under Subsection (d) shall be deposited to the credit of the state highway fund. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 236 (H.B. 1947 ), Sec. 1, eff. September 1, 2007.
