§ WA.16.195. EMERGENCY RELEASES OF WATER
EMERGENCY RELEASES OF WATER. Unappropriated water and other water of the state stored in any facility acquired by and under the control of the board may be released without charge to relieve any emergency condition arising from drought, severe water shortage, or public calamity, if the commission first determines the existence of the emergency and requests the board to release water. Amended by Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 2207, ch. 870, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1977.
