§ IN.1131.354. CONVERSION RIGHTS
CONVERSION RIGHTS. On termination of group term life insurance coverage for a spouse insured under this subchapter because the insured employee's employment terminates or the employee dies, or because the group contract terminates, the spouse has the same conversion rights as to the group term life insurance on the spouse's life as the employee. Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 2, eff. June 1, 2003.
