§ SD.1069.151. PETITION TO EXPAND DISTRICT TERRITORY

PETITION TO EXPAND DISTRICT TERRITORY. (a) Registered voters of a defined territory not included in the district may file a petition with the board secretary requesting inclusion of the territory in the district. (b) The petition must be signed by at least 50 registered voters of the territory or a majority of those voters, whichever is fewer. Added by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 70 (S.B. 1147 ), Sec. 1.01, eff. April 1, 2013.
