§ 8-36-101. Prohibited changes in retirement.

A current early service retiree shall not change to disability retirement. A current disability retiree shall not change to early service retirement. Acts 2019, ch. 381, § 10. Compiler's Notes. Former § 8-36-101 (Acts 1972, ch. 814, § 5; T.C.A., § 8-3916; Acts 1992, ch. 843, § 17), concerning adjustment of retirement allowances for social security benefits, was transferred to § 8-36-601(c) and (d) by Acts 2013, ch. 296, § 17, effective April 29, 2013.
