§ 68-30-107. Refusal to make anatomical gift — Effect of refusal.

An individual may refuse to make an anatomical gift of the individual's body or part by a writing signed in the same manner as a document of gift or any other writing used to identify the individual as refusing to make an anatomical gift. A terminal patient may refuse to make an anatomical gift by oral statement or other form of communication. Acts 2007, ch. 428, § 1. Compiler's Notes. Former § 68-30-107 (Acts 1969, ch. 35, § 6; T.C.A., §§ 53-4207, 53-42-107 ), concerning amendment or revocation of anatomical gifts, was repealed by Acts 2001, ch. 404, § 1, effective July 1, 2001.
