§ 68-221-212. Use of retroactive grant.
To the extent that a state grant is made retroactively under this part for an eligible project that has been financed by other funds, such state grant may be used by a municipality for any municipal sewer purpose. Acts 1970, ch. 521, § 1; T.C.A., § 53-2028; Acts 1989, ch. 233, § 21; T.C.A., § 68-13-212 . Compiler's Notes. Former title 68, ch. 13, parts 1-10 were transferred to title 68, ch. 221, parts 1-10, respectively, in 1992. See the parallel reference table in § 68-221-101 for the former and new section locations. Acts 1989, ch. 233, § 60 provided that the provisions of Acts 1989, ch. 233 are declared to be remedial in nature and all provisions of that act shall be liberally construed to effectuate its purposes.
