§ 68-1-2301. Short title — Purpose.

This part shall be known and may be cited as the “Child Nutrition and Wellness Act of 2006,” and is enacted for the purpose of educating the public concerning child nutrition and wellness issues and for advocating initiatives to improve the nutrition and wellness of children. Acts, 2006, ch. 886, § 7 provided that the provisions of the act shall not be construed to be an appropriation of funds and no funds shall be obligated or expended pursuant to the act unless such funds are specifically appropriated by the general appropriations act.
