§ 67-1-603. Revenue used to discharge debt — Special funds.
All counties that levy and collect taxes for special purposes or to pay off any bonded indebtedness are empowered, through the county legislative bodies, to appropriate and use the funds levied and collected for such purposes to discharge any outstanding bonded indebtedness of the counties. Such counties have the authority, through the county legislative bodies, to place all the funds levied and collected for special purposes in one (1) fund, to be known as the special fund of the counties, and to appropriate and use the money for the purpose of discharging any bonded indebtedness of the counties.
