§ 66-29-183. Relation to Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act.
Except as otherwise provided in this section, this part modifies, limits, or supersedes the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act ( 15 U.S.C. § 7001 et seq.). This part does not modify, limit, or supersede Section 101(c) of the Act ( 15 U.S.C. § 7001 (c) ), or authorize electronic delivery of any of the notices described in Section 103(b) of the Act ( 15 U.S.C. § 7003(b) ). Acts 2017, ch. 457, § 1. Effective Dates. Acts 2017, ch. 457, § 7. July 1, 2017; provided that, for purposes of promulgating rules, the act took effect May 25, 2017.
