§ 66-29-143. [Reserved.]

A purchaser of property at a sale conducted by the treasurer under this part takes the property free of all claims of the owner, a previous holder, or a person making a claim through the owner or holder. The treasurer shall execute documents necessary to complete the transfer of ownership to the purchaser. Acts 2017, ch. 457, § 1. Effective Dates. Acts 2017, ch. 457, § 7. July 1, 2017; provided that, for purposes of promulgating rules, the act took effect May 25, 2017.
