§ 65-25-129. Exemption for utility districts.
Notwithstanding any provision contained in this chapter to the contrary, it is the specific intent of this chapter that all utility districts heretofore or hereafter created under the “Utility District Act of 1937,” compiled in title 7, chapter 82, or any similar legislation, shall be specifically exempt from this chapter. Former part 1 of this chapter was deleted and former part 2 was renumbered as T.C.A. §§ 65-25-101 to 65-25-135 by authority of the Code Commission in 2015.
