§ 64-10-105. Advisory committee.

The board may appoint an advisory committee from a list of nominees submitted by each county mayor to consist of one (1) farmer, or one (1) person engaged in agribusiness marketing, or one (1) person from a financial institution, and the agricultural extension agent from each participating county. If appointed by the board, it shall be the duty of the advisory committee to consult with and advise the board regarding the operation and financial management of the authority. Acts 1998, ch. 998, § 6; 2003, ch. 90, § 2. Compiler's Notes. Acts 2003, ch. 90, § 2, directed the code commission to change all references from “county executive” to “county mayor” and to include all such changes in supplements and replacement volumes for the Tennessee Code Annotated.
