§ 63-17-207. Preliminary application requirements — Fees.

An applicant for a license shall: Be at least eighteen (18) years of age; and Have an education equivalent to two (2) years of accredited college level coursework or national board for certification in hearing instrument sciences (NBC-HIS) board certification. Such applicant shall pay a nonrefundable application fee as set by the council no later than forty-five (45) days in advance of the next scheduled examination. The 2019 amendment added “or national board for certification in hearing instrument sciences (NBC-HIS) board certification” at the end of (a)(2). Effective Dates. Acts 2019, ch. 323, § 2.
