§ 62-32-310. Meetings — Officers — Quorum.

The board shall establish in its bylaws a regular meeting schedule for the purpose of transacting business. At the first meeting of each calendar year, the board shall elect officers, including a chair, vice chair and secretary. Special meetings of the board shall be held at times that the board may require. Special meetings shall be at the call of the chair or by a majority of the board members. Three (3) members shall constitute a quorum for transaction of board business. Due notice of each meeting and the time and place of the meeting shall be given each member in the manner that the bylaws may provide. Board members shall serve without compensation but shall be entitled to reimbursement for travel expenses, to be paid in accordance with the comprehensive travel regulations promulgated by the commissioner of finance and administration and approved by the attorney general and reporter.
