§ 56-41-101. Chapter definitions.

As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires: “Association” means the Tennessee property and casualty insurance association; and “Insurance” means “property insurance” as defined in § 56-2-201, and “casualty insurance” as defined in § 56-2-201, except for: Hazardous waste or environmental impairment insurance; and Any kind of insurance that is available through the Tennessee automobile insurance plan or any other existing residual market mechanism as defined in chapter 5 of this title.
