§ 55-17-107. Powers and duties of commission — Rules and regulations — Forms.
The commission is vested with those powers and duties necessary and proper to enable it to fully and effectively carry out the provisions and objectives of this part and part 4 of this chapter, including, but not limited to: The authority to promulgate reasonable substantive and procedural rules pursuant to the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, compiled in title 4, chapter 5; and The authority to prescribe all forms to be used by the commission in the transaction of its business including application forms, license forms, complaint forms, and renewal forms. Acts 1955, ch. 79, § 3; 1977, ch. 162, § 18; T.C.A., § 59-1707; Acts 2016, ch. 781, § 7. Compiler's Notes. Acts 2016, ch. 781, § 14, provided that the act, which amended this section, shall apply to any licenses issued or renewed on or after January 1, 2017.
