§ 50-6-407. Certificate of compliance with insurance provisions.

Every individual, firm, association, or corporation using the services of one (1) or more persons for pay shall post and maintain in a conspicuous place on the business premises a printed notice regarding workers' compensation as prescribed by the administrator of the bureau of workers' compensation. The notice shall include, at a minimum, a general description of the duties and obligations of both the employer and the employee under the law; the name, address and telephone number of the individual to notify in the event of a work-related injury; a toll-free number and address for the department of labor and workforce development at which employers or employees may obtain additional information; and the name, address and telephone number of a representative of the employer who can confirm whether the individual, firm, association, or corporation is subject to this chapter; and other information required through rules promulgated by the administrator of the bureau of workers' compensation. The 2013 amendment, effective July 1, 2014, substituted “administrator of the division of workers' compensation” for “commissioner of labor and workforce development” in two places.
