§ 5-23-110. Mandamus to compel compliance.

In order to enforce this chapter, the county mayor is authorized to retain the county attorney, or an attorney hired pursuant to § 5-6-112 , to seek mandamus to compel compliance as provided in § 5-1-107 , and additionally may pursue any and all other remedies available at law or in equity. Acts 2003, ch. 90, § 2, directed the code commission to change all references from “county executive” to “county mayor” and to include all such changes in supplements and replacement volumes for the Tennessee Code Annotated.
