§ 49-8-1301. Creation.
The Nashville State Technical Community College is renamed the Nashville State Community College. Acts 2002, ch. 618, § 2; 2009, ch. 352, § 5. Compiler's Notes. Acts 2002, ch. 618, § 3 provided that: “Any one-time expenditures of funds required by the conversion of Nashville State Technical Institute to Nashville State Technical Community College (now Nashville State Community College) (for example, signage on campus, stationery, etc.) shall be from existing institutional funds.” Acts 2009, ch. 352, § 7 provided that any one-time expenditure of funds required by the name conversion of the Chattanooga State Technical Community College, Pellissippi State Technical Community College, Northeast State Technical Community College, Nashville State Technical Community College and Southwest Tennessee Community College by that act shall be from existing institutional funds.
