§ 49-7-2407. Costs.
Nothing in this part shall require an institution to fund costs associated with student speech or expression. An institution shall not impose costs on students or student organizations on the basis of the anticipated reaction or opposition to a person's speech by listeners. Acts 2017, ch. 336, § 8. Compiler's Notes. Acts 2017, ch. 336, § 10 provided that the governing body of each public institution of higher education in this state is authorized to promulgate rules to effectuate the purposes of the act. The rules shall be promulgated in accordance with the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, compiled in title 4, chapter 5.
