§ 49-6-1010. Computer education.

In order that every pupil for whom it is appropriate receives instruction in the use of computers sufficient to enable that pupil to communicate and participate in the twenty-first century, the state board of education shall require every candidate for a full high school diploma to receive a full year of computer education at some time during the candidate's educational career. Pupils who transfer from another state to a Tennessee school during their senior year are exempt from this requirement. Acts 1992, ch. 535, § 34.
