§ 49-5-5617. Requirements for teacher endorsement.

All courses taken toward meeting the requirement for a teacher endorsement shall be selected from those courses required for an academic major in the various fields of the arts and sciences or from colleges of business or engineering, if applicable. This requirement shall not apply to standard methods courses or other courses designed especially for training elementary teachers. Acts 1984 (1st E.S.), ch. 7, § 73; T.C.A., § 49-5-5622 .
