§ 49-3-101. General provisions.
The state school fund consists of all funds appropriated or allocated from the state treasury for the operation and maintenance of the public schools or that may derive from any state taxes, the proceeds of which are devoted to public school purposes. The state school fund shall be administered and distributed in accordance with the applicable provisions of this title, or, if not controlled in the provisions of this title, then in accordance with the provisions of the general appropriations act that may be applicable.
