§ 47-26-1008. Annual license cost.

The annual cost for a public weighmaster license shall be set by rule pursuant to § 43-1-703 . Acts 1997, ch. 311, § 2; 2002, ch. 640, § 21; 2015, ch. 485, § 28. Amendments. The 2015 amendment rewrote the section, which read: “The commissioner has the authority to set fees for the administration and effective enforcement of this part. Before the issuance of a new license or renewal of a license as a public weighmaster, the applicant must pay a fee equal to eighteen dollars ($18.00) per year to the department. All funds collected under this part shall be credited to the department to be used as expendable receipts in the enforcement of this part.” Effective Dates. Acts 2015, ch. 485, § 41. July 1, 2015; May 20, 2015, for the purpose of promulgating rules.
