§ 47-18-1402. Warranty extension period.
Any written warranty or service contract purchased in this state on or after July 1, 1989, and in effect when there is a failure of the product under such written warranty or service contract shall be extended as follows: The number of days the consumer is deprived of the use of the product by reason of the product being in repair; plus Two (2) additional working days. Acts 1989, ch. 450, § 3.
