§ 47-18-114. Powers of attorney general.
The attorney general may bring any appropriate action or proceeding in any court of competent jurisdiction pursuant to this part. Acts 1977, ch. 438, § 15; 2019, ch. 459, § 13. Compiler's Notes. Acts 2019, ch. 459, § 55 provided that the division of consumer affairs in the department of commerce and insurance shall coordinate with the attorney general and reporter to transfer all documents, information, systems, and other material deemed relevant to the operation of the division of consumer affairs of the office of the attorney general and reporter. Amendments. The 2019 amendment substituted “The attorney general” for “The attorney general and reporter, at the request of the division,” at the beginning of the section. Effective Dates.
