§ 45-2-709. Reserve against deposits.
A state bank shall maintain a reserve against deposits in the form and manner that the commissioner prescribes by regulation. In promulgating regulations hereunder, the commissioner shall consider the reserve requirements of the federal Monetary Control Act of 1980, 94 Stat. 132, and the liquidity needs of state banks. The Monetary Control Act of 1980, referred to in this section, is compiled as 12 U.S.C. §§ 248, 248a, 342, 347b, 355, 360, 412, 461, 463, 505, 1425a (repealed).
