§ 41-1-114. Report to general assembly.

The commissioner shall transmit to the general assembly, at each regular session of that body and during the first week of the session, a report in full of the transactions of the penitentiary during the two (2) years preceding the report, and showing, among other things: The number of inmates confined in the penitentiary; The offenses for which committed; Their ages, previous occupation, birth place and residence; Their respective periods of imprisonment; The different kinds of businesses in which they are employed; How many employed in each; and The profit or loss.
