§ 39-17-1357. Notice of address change.

Within sixty (60) days of any change in a permit holder's principal place of residence, the permit holder shall notify the department in writing of the permit holder's new address. On or after January 1, 2015, the department shall provide a method for permit holders to notify the department electronically on the department's website. Acts 1996, ch. 905, § 9; 2014, ch. 816, § 1. Compiler's Notes. Pursuant to Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Tennessee, Acts 2014, ch. 816 took effect on April 28, 2014. Acts 2014, ch. 816, § 2 provided that the commissioner is authorized to promulgate rules and regulations to effectuate the purposes of this act, which added subsection (b). All such rules and regulations shall be promulgated in accordance with the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, compiled in title 4, chapter 5.
