§ 39-14-805. Powers and duties of commissioner.

For purposes of enforcing this part, the commissioner: May investigate any offense under this part; May seek the assistance of any law enforcement agency of the United States, the state, or any local government in the conduct of the investigations; and Shall coordinate the investigation to the maximum extent practicable, with the investigations of any law enforcement agency of the United States, the state, or any local government.
