§ 35-13-101. Short title.

This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the “Tennessee Charitable Beneficiaries Act of 1997.” Acts 1997, ch. 300, § 1. Compiler's Notes. Acts 1997, ch. 300, § 2, provides that this chapter shall take effect upon becoming law as to all estates or trusts under administration or other entities administering a charitable gift or discretionary charitable gift, regardless of the date of the gift instrument or when administration began, the public welfare requiring it.
