§ 3-18-102. Chapter definitions.

As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires: “Alternate delegate” means an individual elected as an alternate delegate as provided by this chapter; “Article V convention” means a convention for proposing amendments to the Constitution of the United States called for by the states under Article V of the Constitution of the United States; “Delegate” means an individual elected as provided by this chapter to represent Tennessee at an Article V convention; “House of representatives” means the house of representatives of the general assembly; “Paired delegate” means the delegate with whom an alternate delegate is paired as provided by this chapter; and “Senate” means the senate of the general assembly.
