§ 29-17-802. Certain authorities excepted.

Section 29-17-801 shall apply only to condemnation proceedings instituted by the state of Tennessee, its counties, or municipalities, and shall not apply to any housing authority, association, or administration. Former part 8 of this chapter, §§ 29-17-801 — 29-17-814 , concerning supplementary method, was transferred to title 29, ch. 17, part 9 in 2006. Acts 2006, ch. 863, § 25, provided that the amendment by that act shall apply only to eminent domain or condemnation proceedings initiated on or after July 1, 2006. Cited: Baker v.
