§ 29-17-1002. Evidence.
If the trial of any such condemnation case is commenced prior to the completion of the highway for which the land was condemned, or any work being done thereto, maps, drawings or photographs of the land being condemned shall be admissible in evidence, provided the undertaking is substantially complete and such evidence would not misrepresent the same. Former part 12 of this chapter, §§ 29-17-1201 and 29-17-1202 , concerning miscellaneous provisions, was transferred to title 29, ch. 17, part 10 in 2006. Acts 2006, ch. 863, § 25, provided that the amendment by that act shall apply only to eminent domain or condemnation proceedings initiated on or after July 1, 2006. Cited: Edwards v.
